The area around Garden Grove is a playground for the entire family, and you’ll be in the center of the action at the Hyatt Regency Orange County. The Hyatt concierge will be ready with shuttle schedules to Southern California attractions and suggestions for places to eat and explore; they’ll also help you secure tickets for an event, should you like. Here’s a short list of local activities to help get you started:

Disneyland, Walt Disney’s original theme park, and the newer Disney's California Adventure are less than a mile away. Just show your Hyatt room key for a complimentary round-trip shuttle from the hotel to Disneyland Resort.

Take in a live-music concert at Honda Center, Grove of Anaheim, or House of Blues. Experience the Wild West with thrilling rides and stunt shows at Knott's Berry Farm. See more than 12,000 animals whose habitat ranges from the tropics to the frigid Northern waters at the Aquarium of the Pacific. Or step back in time and encounter California’s Spanish heritage in the gardens of the beautifully restored Mission of San Juan Capistrano, founded in 1776 by Father Junipero Serra.

Plenty of fine, soft sand awaits you on six Orange County beaches, two of them featured on TV’s The O.C. and Laguna Beach: The Real OC. You can connect with nature on both land and water at Crystal Cove State Park, containing 3.5 miles of beach, an underwater park, and 2,000 acres of undeveloped woodland.

In addition to the great dining options within the Hyatt itself, you’ll find several mouth-watering restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. A list of nearby eateries will be available when you arrive for the conference.

Discover world-class shopping at Fashion Island, South Coast Plaza, GardenWalk, The Block at Orange, or in nearby Hollywood, West Hollywood, and Los Angeles.
